Anyone who has ever met me knows I have extremely strong opinions and beliefs. I demonstrate this the most when I get involved with a cause. When I truly care about something, whether it is animal rights, legalizing gay marriage, or saving the environment, I am unable to stop myself from throwing my energy into making it happen. In early March, my mom showed me a powerful film by Invisible Children about the citizens of Northern Uganda and the horrors they must face because of the civil war taking place in their country. The movie changed me for life and I have since become greatly involved with IC. I participated in their international event, The Rescue, and am currently in Washington D.C., lobbying for the cause (see post below). I wanted to enthusiastically thank everyone who donated to get me here and show everybody exactly why I am doing this. Please check out the Invisible children website! Watch the videos or ask me any questions. Peace!
